collaborative project with nous vous. summer school programme conceived for mudam, luxembourg’s contemporary art museum, coinciding with the exhibition ‘hard to picture: a tribute to ad reinhardt’.
we acted as visiting professors from the fictional ‘headeyenheart academy’, creating a three-term curriculum based around ideas of how to look, feel and think about art and the world.
each term featured a weekend of activities, events and workshops conducted by the ‘visiting professors’ including collaborative drawing, collage & risography. a free workbook accompanied each term, for visitors to take away or to use in the galleries. the large wall layout was gradually filled in with visitors’ responses to the workbook activities.
weekend two culminated in an improvised performance — ‘pineapple cake’ — using instruments, stage set and costumes developed in a family workshop. the performance can be heard here.
