i am a visual artist working across the fields of painting, illustration and applied art. i’m a member of nous vous, a collaborative practice founded in 2006.
i’m interested in creating improvised images that exist at the boundary of legibility; between the pictorial and the abstract.
i have an ongoing research interest in collaborative and hybrid processes such as machine drawing/painting.
as an illustrator, i am adept at making bold, playful & highly communicative images with collage and (sometimes) line.
i lecture on ba illustration at camberwell college of arts and work on educational / visual art projects with institutions around the world.
